School and government debates, move over!

We have a huge debate going on right now in Niles and this one could get ugly.
This isn't about a school or government issue (although those are both always big deals). It's not about what stores are closing or opening and it's not about how happy people are that we don't have a town council like Roseland.
If you visit our Reader Forum online, you probably already know what I'm talking about. If not, I hope you're hungry.
So what's the big debate about? Who has the best burgers in town!
Many places have great burgers, but its seems people have their favorites and five stand out – The Tavern, Old Tavern Inn, B&J Pub, Hot Dogs Plus and Beeson Street Bar &Grill.
I've had a burger from all of these places, except Beeson Street, which is in Dowagiac. I definitely know that the other four have wonderful burgers. Too bad B&L Inn isn't still around, as they also had excellent burgers.
Hungry yet? It's only 8:30 a.m., but I could go for a burger right now.
We're planning on doing something with this debate, we're just not sure yet. We want to find out who truly does have the best burgers and for this, we will need your help!
If you have any suggestions, send me and e-mail. We've been brainstorming a few things we can do, but nothing has really jumped out yet.
How do you determine who has the best burger? Is it by the size of the actual burger? Maybe it has a flavor that can't be found anywhere else. How about the condiments included? If you ask me, it's all of the above.
I think this choice would almost be impossible for me. I know my top two favorite, but without eating at Beeson Street, I can't say anything just yet.
So, let us know what you think! This could be something very fun. Everyone has their opinions and we think it's time to see who will hold the title of having the best burgers.
Ok, I have to talk about football forecasters just because I am getting slammed by my opponents.
Thanks guys! Make me feel smaller than I already am.
People keep asking me what's going on? Usually I am right up there in the top three and this year I am in last place. Which is really sad because for the past two years, I really didn't pay close attention to college football. This year, I watch all of the previews and playbacks on ESPN and even follow the weekly poll rankings.
My problem, I believe, came in the very first pick of this season when I went 3-7 – Ouch! But, than again, there were teams ranked that have now fallen off the face of the earth. So that's where some of my mistakes have come from. Other than that, I have no explanation. This just doesn't seem to be my year. Which is alright, everyone has off seasons and this just happens to be mine.
It's hard to believe it's already time for the Apple Festival. This is one thing I look forward to every year.
My mom and I usually hit the arts and crafts booths every Saturday morning and head home with great items and food.
So many people have different reasons for why they like the Apple Festival. I just enjoy it because it's the perfect time of year, the food is great and the arts and crafts are fantastic. My mom likes it for all of those reasons as well, plus this is her perfect excuse to not have to cook this weekend!
Don't miss out on the festival this year. It starts tonight with wristband night. Let the kids ride all the rides they want, as many times as they want, for $20.
Events will be going on all weekend, so be sure to grab a brochure.
