BUCHANAN – Playing relaxed and at a fast tempo made for an enjoyable evening of volleyball on the Lady Bucks home court Monday night. Buchanan came away with a 3-0 non-league win over Eau Claire 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.
"We did an excelent job tonight keeping the speed of the game fast and an awsome job of playing together," Buchanan coach Lisa Holok said of her team's win. "They were having fun and at the same time they were working hard."
It was important for the Bucks to come out and have a good game. Wednesday's opponent will be against a very tough Coloma team. "The most important thing for us to do on Wednesday is to stay connected as a team and not to be cut in two when we get down a couple points.
We kind of go off in our own individual spot, so if we stay connected at our top spot I think we'll do a nice job," she added.
