Suspect caught

NILES – The Niles Wal-Mart was the scene of a strong arm robbery Monday at approximately 11:50 a.m., with the suspect pursued by employees while fleeing on foot.
Niles Township Deputy Ian Dodd located the suspect, Rodney A. Bell, 41, of South Bend, Ind., in a parking lot at 2008 S. 11th St. Niles. Wal-Mart is located at 2107 S. 11th St. Niles.
Two Wal-Mart employees reported allegedly being assaulted by Bell.
Dodd was assisted by Niles City Police Officers, Lt. Stanton and Officer Glick with arresting Bell, according to Dodd's police report.
Bell was arraigned at the Berrien County Fifth District Court in Niles before being lodged at Berrien County Jail on charges of Strong Arm Robbery, Assaulting Police Officers, and Resisting Police Officers.
