Cass romps again

DURAND – The Cassopolis varsity football team improved to 2-0 with a 35-14 victory over host Durand on Thursday night.
The Rangers scored 21 first quarter points and then cruised home with the victory.
DaShaun Curtis ran for touchdowns of 6- and 39-yards, while Mike DeGraff scored on a 66-yard pass from Nick Davis.
A.J. Ballard and Larry Harris also scored for the Rangers, who finished with 330 yards rushing and 104 yards passing.
Ballard scored on a 4-yard run and Harris on a 3-yard run.
The Rangers held Durand to 172 yards in total offense.
