NILES – The Chamber of Commerce is beginning its new year Aug. 9 for the Chamber Ambassador Program.
Ambassadors are volunteers who, on behalf of the Chamber, make courtesy calls to Chamber members, assist with members needs and help promote member retention. By calling on members, the Ambassadors are able to learn about their business concerns and communicate ideas and suggestions back to the Chamber. Ambassadors encourage members to become involved and assist members in learning more about Chamber initiatives.
The primary role of an Ambassador is to act as a liaison between the Chamber and its membership and to provide an active communication link between the Chamber and the member organizations.
This is an opportunity to get out in the business community and have the possibility to meet potential new clients or gain a new friend.
If you, or if you know of anyone you would be interested in becoming a Chamber Ambassador, please give the Chamber a call at (269) 683-3720 before Aug. 3 at noon.
