Blossomland Soccer organization runs well

We would like to congratulate the Blossomland Soccer League for another fine season.
The league will wrap up its fourth season on Sunday at the Kickers Club near St. Joseph.
While there are many outstanding youth soccer leagues throughout our area, the quality of adult leagues was shaky at best.
The Blossomland Soccer League is an extremely well run organization that has provided a structured environment for its players.
The league has grown steadily in its four years of operation and had 12 teams this past season.
We attribute the growth to a variety of factors, the biggest being that the league uses qualified officials and that misconduct is not tolerated.
Other 'adult' leagues could not make such a claim, which resulted in players getting injured on a regular basis due to unsportsmanlike play.
Anyone who participates in the Blossomland Soccer League can rest assure that they will not have to deal with that issue. They can come to a match and enjoy playing soccer without the risk of intentional injury.
If you haven't had a chance to get out and see a match this year, or for that matter ever, we suggest you make the short trip over to the Kicker's Club on Old 31 between Berrien Springs and St. Joseph in Arden on Sunday.
The consolation match is scheduled for 1 p.m., while the title match is slated for 3 p.m.
