Let Nike, NFL know what you think about Vick

No punishment in our civil society even approaches adequate for sub-human creatures like Michael Vick, who are so genetically flawed that they take perverse pleasure in watching animals rip each other apart – animals they must teach to attack. Animals they must torture before they will fight each other.
Apparently, based on the indictment against him, Vick allegedly took particular pleasure in soaking female dogs who lost fights with water and electrocuting them. I will spare you other details. They are nauseating.
God, please let there be a very special place in hell for him and others like him.
My only hope is that our judicial system will in the end take away his freedom and strip him of his ability to earn money.
In the meantime, take a moment and write a letter expressing your thoughts to Nike, one company who pays Vick millions of dollars each year for endorsements.
While Vick has lost a number of endorsements in recent years, like Coca-Cola and Air Tran, Nike has stuck with Vick.
Even with his latest, hideous charge, Nike will only say it is continuing to monitor the situation.
Mark Kriegel of Foxsports.com reported on Thursday Nike's stance is one of money over morals, probably due to the fact that it is expected to launch the Zoom Vick V shoe in about a month. Cost per pair, Kriegel reported, is about $100. Late Thursday afternoon, Nike did announce it plans to delay the release of the new shoe.
As of this writing, Nike continues to think Vick is a fitting representative for its company and products.
Do you agree? You can share your opinion with Nike in a letter to:
Nike World Headquarters
One Bowerton Drive
Beaverton, OR 97005-6453
Or, better yet, call them at 1-800-344-6453. They are open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific time.
While you're at it, send a letter off to the Atlanta Falcons and let them know what you think about its decision to allow Vick to continue to practice, play and collect his paycheck while this matter works its way through the courts.
Don't buy that "guilty until proven innocent" stuff. The NFL has on numerous occasions suspended players who were charged with criminal activity before the issues were resolved. Here's an address:
Atlanta Falcons
4400 Falcon Parkway
Flowery Branch, GA 30542
It continues to amaze how our society values celebrity and athletic ability over all else. Paris Hilton. Lindsey Lohan. Victoria Beckham. Chris Benoit. Michael Vick. It's as if depth of character means nothing at all.
That's an indictment against all of us.
