Dowagiac All-Stars lose to Coloma/Hagar

Niles F.O.P. and Brandywine both picked up victories Thursday night in the Eaton Park Invitational.
Niles blanked South Haven 14-0 in Peanut League A.
Meanwhile, Brandywine-Duval defeated Bridgman 10-5 in Peanut League B.
Brandywine also picked up a 5-4 victory over Berrien Springs in Minor League B.
Dowagiac and Brandywine were defeated in Minor League A and Little League C respectively.
Dowagiac was defeated by Coloma/Hagar-Page, 13-6. Brandywine was blanked by St. Joseph 12-0.
Coloma/Hagar scored five runs in both the second and fourth innings to break open the contest.
Dowagiac actually grabbed a 2-1 lead after one inning of play and was up 3-1 heading into the bottom half of the second.
Coloma/Hagar scored five times, but Dowagiac came back with three runs in the top of the third to knot the score at 6-6.
Coloma/Hagar scored five times in the bottom of the fourth and twice in the bottom of the fifth to pull away to the victory.
Conner Myers had three hits for Coloma/Hagar, while Ryan Parrigan added two hits.
No statistics were provided for the Dowagiac team.
Play continues at Eaton Park in St. Joseph all weekend.
