NILES – The Martins Supermarket Reds won the Minor Division World Series championship Thursday night at Fireman's Youth Park with an 8-7 victory over the Midwest Cooperative Energy Red Sox in game three of the Minor Division World Series.
The Reds and Red Sox both tied in the regular season for first place with 10-2 records.
State Tournaments
The Brandywine Cal Ripken baseball park will be hosting the 9 &10-year-old Cal Ripken Michigan State tournament beginning Friday, July 6 and going through Sunday, July 8.
Both Brandywine and Howard will have teams represented in this tournament.
The Howard Cal Ripken Baseball league will be hosting the 11 &12-year-old Cal Ripken Michigan State tournament beginning Friday, July 6 and going through Monday, July 9.
Both Brandywine and Howard will also have teams represented in this tournament as well.
