NILES – The Michiana Mystique 18U softball team is 2-0 at the Sparkler Tournament in Denver, Colo.
The Mystique defeated the California Drop Zone 7-1 and the Louisiana Southern Rage 9-0.

Dawn McClellan picked up the victory as she scattered five hits.
Ashley Carrico doubled, homered and drove in two runs to lead the Mystique to the victory.
Sarah Oppelt also had two hits for the Mystique.

Rebekah Nelson's three-run home run and Ashley Johnson's three-run double were the highlights of the lopside victory.
Courtney Gage, Nelson and Emily Ross all finished with two hits.
