Diamonds United takes over first place after tie with Real Dowagiac

NILES – In a battle between the Blossomland Soccer League's two top teams, Diamonds United and Real Dowagiac had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Because of the tie and criteria, Diamonds United moves into first place in the league with a record of 7-0-1.
Real Dowagiac is 7-0-1 as well, but is in second place due to more misconduct points.
Doug Pittman scored the lone goal for Diamonds United, while Rodolfo Hernandez had the goal for Real Dowagiac.
Tornados…2
Dura Mold FC…0
Andy Low and Hector Rodriquez scored for the Tornados as they improved to 3-4-1 on the year at Brandywine High School on Sunday.
Dura Mold drops to 4-4 with the loss.
The Tornados will host the Stampede on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Niles RAP…10
Red Arrow Stampede…0
Colin Freas, Cody Riggenbach and Chris Thompson all scored two goals as Niles R.A.P. blanked the Red Arrow Stampede 10-0 at Niles High School on Sunday.
Also scoring for Niles (2-5-1) were Scott Bailey, Taylor Robson, Colin Smith and Justin Zimmerman.
The Stampede are now 0-8 on the season.
Niles will travel to Stevensville on Friday to take on St. Stephen's Villains at Rockey Weed Field at 6:30 p.m.

Dowagiac's Tony Black had a pair of goals as the Kickers blanked the Villains.
Jason Girvan, Andrew Pyzik, Ryan Berry and Kyle Brogan also had goals for the Kickers, who improved to 6-1-1.
The Villains fall to 2-5-1 with the loss.
