Peter H. "Pete" Williams, 90, lifelong resident of South 15th Street, Niles, died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Brentwood Assisted Living Community, Niles, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 25, at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, with the Rev. Fred T. Smith, Chaplain of American Legion Post No. 26 officiating.
The Veterans' Flag Presentation and Taps by Post No. 26 will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles.
The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Elks' Lodge Rites beginning at 4 p.m.
Contributions in memory of Pete Williams may be made to Southern Care Hospice of Kalamazoo.
