Looking for something to do this Father's Day weekend?
We suggest heading over to Thomas Stadium or to Niles High School and take in some great baseball.
The annual Niles Classic began at Thomas Stadium today at 1 p.m.
Eight teams, including a pair from Niles, are participating in the tournament.
Joining Niles SC and Niles BR will be Post 143, Post 161, Post 50, Post 204 and the St. Joe Blues.
Games will be held today at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. All of today's games will be held at Thomas Stadium.
Niles SC will face Post 163 at 6 p.m., while Niles BR will take on the Blues at 8:30.
On Saturday, games will be played at both Thomas Stadium and Niles High School.
Games at Thomas will be held at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. 3 p.m. 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The games at the high school will be played at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Niles BR will play at 5:30 p.m. at Thomas Stadium. Niles SC will open Saturday's action at 9 a.m. at the high school.
Sunday there will be four games at Thomas Stadium as the tournament championship is decided.
Games are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and the title game at 6 p.m..
The weather is supposed to be a little warm, but dry all weekend.
So get out there and support your local teams and take in some great baseball action.
