Blossomland Soccer League still going strong

STEVENSVILLE – Whirpool United improved to 3-1-1 on the season in the Blossomland Soccer League with a 8-0 victory over the Red Arrow Stampede.
Mike Dalton and Santiago Restrepo both scored two goals for Whirlpool, which also got goals from Dennis Moaris, Richard Love, Sergio Duarte and Luis Baptistella.
The Stampede dropped to 0-6 on the season.
Diamonds United…4
Tornados…1
Diamonds United remained undefeated in the league with a 4-1 victory over the Tornados.
Emmanual Santana, Claston Reid, Mormanh Ramirez and Eric Almeida all scored for the United (5-0).
Mike Williams had the lone goal for the Tornados (1-4-1).
Niles RAP…9
Internationals…1
Danny Rodts and Craig Rumpf both had two goals at Niles R.A.P. picked up its first win of the season against the Berrien Springs Internationals.
Also scoring for Niles were Zach Herrman, Aaron Aceveda, Justin Zimmerman, Cody Riggenbach and Taylor Robson.
Niles is now 1-3-1 on the year.
Ryan Bowman had the lone goal for the Internationals, who fell to 1-5.
Dura Mold FC…4
St. Stephens Villains…2
Dura Mold improved to 3-2 on the season with a 4-2 victory over the Villains.
Mike McCoy and Aden Kamala scored for Dura Mold, which also picked up a pair of own goals by the Villains.
The Villains dropped to 0-4-1 with the loss. Scoring wre Lang Balazar and Mason Johnson.
P&R FC…5
Dowagiac Dawgs…2
P&R FC improved its record to 6-0 with a 5-2 victory over the Dowagiac Dawgs.
The win keeps P&R FC tied with Real Dowagiac for first place.
Trent Teshka and Jon Radtke both scored twice for P&R, which also got a goal from Dennis Ott.
Clay Hewitt had both goals for the Dawgs, who drop to 1-4-1.

St. Joe Kickers…0
Dowagiac remained atop the Blossomland Conference standings with a 5-0 win over the previously unbeaten Kickers.
Octavio Hernandez had a hat trick for Dowagiac, which improved to 6-0.
Mauricio Mancera had the other two goals for Dowagiac.
The Kickers drop to 3-1-1 in league play.
