NILES – Niles pitcher Jenna Ignowski was named to the All-District softball team, while the enitre Viking softball squad was honored with the Sportsmanhsip award.
Dowagiac landed two players on the Division 2 All-District Softball Team, which was selected Monday evening.
Senior All-Stater Holly Lowe was selected at third base for the Chieftains, while outfielder Tasia Diaz, a sophomore, was also named to the squad.
Edwardsburg also landed a pair of players on the team as Elizabeth Huffman (outfield) and Kristen Toney (catcher) were selected.
