Donald L. Whalen, 89, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Sioux Trail in Niles, died at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery in Berrien Center.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
