NILES -The Niles girls' track team had four runners and a thrower qualify for the state meet.
The Vikes finished ninth at the meet out of all 17 teams.
On the field, Kyla Kirkendoll qualifyed in the shot put event. She finished in fifth place with a throw of 35 feet.
The 3,200 relay team of Sam Brawley, Autumn Grayson, Mariette Strauss and Madie Rodts captured first place in their event, collectively running a time of 9:44.02.
