Rangers fined with two losses

NILES – Cassopolis had a tough challenge on its hands Wednesday evening as the Bobcats handed the Rangers a Lakeland Conference doubleheader loss.
Brandywine (19-7 overall, 9-3 in the LAC) took an 11-1 win in the first game and a 10-7 win in the second.
In game one, Will Coar led the 'Cats offensively with four hits, including three doubles and four RBIs.
Eric Rush, Cam Ondresky, Dan Reidenbach, Shane Bankston and Kyle King all had two hits each.
Paul Curtis and DeShawn Curtis each had doubles for the Rangers.
Reidenbach went the distance at the mound for Brandywine, throwing five strikeouts and claiming the win.
In the second game, Jesse McCombs led the Bobcats at the plate with three hits and two RBIs. McCombs also had a home run in the game.
Reidenbach added two hits and collected his second win on the mound.
