Tough night ends in split for Brandywine, Coloma

NILES – In a great match-up between two Lakeland Conference baseball teams, Brandywine and Coloma split a doubleheader Monday evening.
The Bobcats walked away with a 5-4 win in the first game after eight innings of play. The Comets then came back in the nightcap and grabbed a 5-3 win.
Jake Harris took the win on the mound in the first game, but fell in the second. Harris also had a home run for the Bobcats,
Dan Reidenbach provided a double in the first game.
Brandywine, now 13-7 overall, 7-3 in the conference, will be hosting a tournament on Saturday, which begins at 10 a.m.
