Phillip A. Parker, 72, of Blackshear, Ga., formerly of Niles, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his home following a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at the First Christian Church of Waycross (Georgia). Burial will follow in the Blackshear City Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Miles-Odum Funeral Home, 130 Screven Avenue, Waycross, Ga.
