NILES – True Sulier suffered the only loss of the day for Buchanan's varsity tennis team.
The Bucks hosted Berrien Springs Monday afternoon for a Lakeland Conference match and claimed a 7-1 victory.
Sulier fell to David Maskala in a very close match, 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
Mario Bonardi, Eric Lenta and Brad Burns were all victorious at No. 2, 3 and 4 singles respectively.
Haper Sulier and Taylor Oake (No. 1 doubles), Dillon Bailey and Andrew Frederick (No. 2 doubles), Sean Thornton and Gabriel Meircelles (No. 3 doubles) and Andrew Scoggin and Josh Nivem (No. 4 doubles) all claimed wins in their matches.
