Mary Joe "Granny" Chambers, 68, of East T Avenue in Scotts, went to be with her savior on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, surrounded by her loved ones, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at Calvary Apostolic Church, 511 Morgan Road, Battle Creek, with the Rev. Johannes Marais and Pastor Keith Rodriguez officiating.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. two hours prior to the services.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center Volunteers, 200 N. Park St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
Arrangements were made by Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Niles.
