Niles JV baseball team creams Tigers

NILES -Billy Siderits and Tommy Flynn threw back-to-back no hit shutouts as the Niles JV Vikings swept host Benton Harbor 22-0 and 14-0 Tuesday evening.
In game one, with Siderits on the mound, Niles scored 16 runs in the first inning to bury the Tigers. Alec Taylor led the Vikings at the plate going 3-for-3 with six RBIs, including an inside the park homerun. Third baseman Anthony Gladden also went 3-for-3. Every Viking batsman got at least one hit in the rout.
Flynn had the mound in the nightcap. Gladden hit a triple, his second of the season. Andrew Brawley and Luciano Villigas both hit doubles. Also getting hits for Niles were Justin Stroud, Will Powers, and Tyler Jackson.
