Bobcats baseball team blows by Hudson Saturday

NILES – Brandywine's varsity baseball team hit the Hudson Tournament on Saturday and left its impression in the one game that was played.
The Bobcats met with host Hudson in the first game and took a 14-4 win in just five innings.
Dustin Zimmerman took the win on the mound for Brandywine, with Travis Duncan and Shane Bankston also stepping in to help.
Top hitters in the game were Bankston, who ended with three hits, including a homerun, double and three RBIs.
Noah Udell added three hits and Mikel Lindzy and Dan Reidenbach each added two hits for the Bobcats.
Brandywine's second game was snowed out.
The Bobcats are now 2-2 overall, 1-1 in the Lakeland Conference. They will return to action on Tuesday when they host River Valley. The first game will begin at 4 p.m.
