BENTON HARBOR – Run for the Buds, a 5-mile run taking place in St. Joseph, will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 5.
The 5K walk will begin immediately after the Run. Registration starts at 9 a.m. the day of the event. The staging and awards area will be at the Whitcomb Retirement Center, 509 Ship Street in St. Joseph
The entry fee for both events is $15 until April 30 and $20 starting May 1.
A pre-race Pasta Party will be held the night before, May 4 from 6-10 p.m. at the Benton Harbor Elks Lodge 544, 2295 S M-139.
The event will feature an "all you can eat" pasta dinner, beverages, entertainment and dancing. Admission is $10 per person. (Pre-registered runners admission fee $5)
Registered participants can pick up their packets at the Pasta Party or the morning of the event.
