NILES – Former Niles High School softball player Kayla Gross is bouncing back well for the Lake Michigan College softball team after recovering from an injury.
Gross had to sit out the first part of the season, but, according to head coach Katie Knight, has made a huge impact since her return.
With eight games under her belt, she is hitting .375 with two home runs. She has also resumed her position as starting right fielder.
