Dowagiac’s Black on Sports Fest squad

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The fall sports participants for the 2007 Sports Fest in June have been announced.
Girls' soccer, boys' soccer, boys' and girls' tennis, girls' basketball and volleyball teams have been released.
The members of the football teams will be released at a later date, as well as the participants from winter and spring sports.
Michigan plays girls' soccer and boys' tennis in the spring, so the members of their all-star teams will be released at a later date.
Dowagiac's Tony Black is a member of the Michigan All-Star soccer team.
Joining Black will be Edwardsburg's Chris Hayes, Philip Turner, Jeremy Watkins and Gary Klann. Also named to the squad are Brandywine's Kyle Haumerson and Kyle Lowe, along with Niles' Mat Peters, Danny Rodts, C.J. Rumpf and Michael Tanke.
In girls' tennis, Brandywine's Amy Konopinski, Buchanan's Robyn Bahr and Megan Vylonis, and Niles' Annalee Nelson have been selected.
Buchanan's Cuppy Smith Mace will coach the squad.
In girls' basketball, Cassopolis' Dee Dee Hawkins and Nikitas Nelson will be joined by Marcellus' Lindsey Ransbottom.
Cassopolis' Floyd Foston will coach the squad.
Sports Fest will be held June 18-23 at Bethel College, with opening ceremonies scheduled for Sunday, June 17.
This will be the fourth year for the all-star event.
