Robert Dale "Bob" Vernon, 84, of North 11th Street, Niles, died at 10:05 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Lakeland Hospital in Niles, of a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 30 at the Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. David D. DeVoll of Coulter's Chapel Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, concluding with Military Honors provided by the Buchanan American Legion Post No. 51.
The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral Home.
Memorial contributions in the memory of Robert Dale Vernon may be made to the American Lung Association or to the Berrien County Area Agency on Aging.
