ALLENDALE – Senior Ryan Casey finished 11th in the shot put at the Grand Valley State University Laker Challenge on Monday.
Casey was Dowagiac's top finisher. He finished with a toss of 44-foot-2.
Chris Primley was 15th in the shot put with a toss of 43-2.
Kevin Mitchell finshed 16th in the long jump with a leap of 19-2.25.
Mitchell also competed in the 50-meters (6.60) and the 200-meters (25.73).
Aaron Caldwell competed in the 50-meters and finished with a time of 6.66. In the 200-meters, Caldwell was clocked at 26.71.
Nate Long posted a time of 1:00.6 in the 400-meters, while Cory Wright ran a 1:03.77 in the event.
Kasey Proshwitz turned in a time of 5:49.76 in the 1,600-meters.
