CASSOPOLIS – Chaquitta "Mere" Bullison, 90, of Calvin Hill Street, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at 7:30 a.m. in her home after an extended illness.
A funeral service was held Monday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at Chain Lake Missionary Baptist Church.
Officiating was her pastor, the Rev. Norman Tubbs, and the Rev. Rayvon Bufkin of Elkhart, Ind.
Her family received friends on Monday, an hour before the service in the church.
Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cassopolis.
Memorials may be made to the Genesis Project, 802 E. State St., Cassopolis, or to Cass County Hospice.
Connelly Funeral Home, Cassopolis, handled arrangements.
