Dowagiac Little League is in need of volunteer umpires for the upcoming baseball-softball season.
Any adults interested in volunteering a few hours a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings) during the eight-week season, should contact John Ignacio at (269) 782-0559 for more information. You may also contact him via his cell phone at (269) 208-5387.
There will be a training clinic at Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
The clinic is free and lunch will be provided by Dowagiac Little League. Dowagiac Little League will also provide a mechanics clinic for additional training before the season starts.
Protective equipment for all volunteer umpires will be provided for all games. Step up to the plate and help the boys and girls of Dowagiac Little League by being a volunteer umpire.
