BENTON HARBOR – Niles' Danielle Foster made the 2007 Miss Blossomtime court Monday night at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center as Miss Congeniality. In fact, the Cass County native was also Miss Congeniality in December's Miss Heart of Blossomtime pageant at Dowagiac Middle School. "I've always intended to be involved with Blossomtime. It has always been a dream of mine."
Danielle also finished in the final 10 from 25 community queens from across southwest Michigan.
A "dedicated, hard-working farm girl who always has a smile on her face," she wants to attend the University of Michigan for business school and Notre Dame Law School to become a prosecuting attorney.
Danielle, daughter of Scott and Elaine Foster, is class secretary and in National Honor Society.
She has worked at Southwestern Michigan College in the nursing office. Community service includes Cass County Council on Aging adult day care and Ring Lardner Homework Busters.
She is state historian for the Michigan Business Professionals of America and state president of the Michigan Junior Angus Association.
