Brandywine lose to Sharmrocks; Chiefs win title

BERRIEN SPRINGS – The Brandywine varsity basketball team dropped a 56-43 decision to host Berrien Springs in the regular season finale for both teams.

The Bobcats will not set their sites on the Class C district tournament at Watervliet, which begins on Wednesday when it takes on the winner of the Watervliet-River Valley contest.
Tip-off is set for 7:45 p.m.
The host Panthers and Mustangs will play on Monday night. The championship is set for Friday night at 7 p.m.

The Dowagiac varsity basketball team won the outright Wolverine Conference championship Friday night with a 78-48 win over visiting Paw Paw.
Amos Clark led the Chieftains (17-3) with 22 points. Oscar Wilson finished with 22.
