NILES – Buchanan's Clinton Orr and Brandywine's Adam Hancock have been chosen as the Niles Daily Star Athletes of the Week for Feb. 19-24.
Orr, a freshmen on the Bucks' varsity basketball team, has been a force for Buchanan this season.
On Feb. 21, Orr scored 13 points to help contribute to the Bucks' 66-43 victory over Edwardsburg. Just two days later, Orr was the leading scorer against Cassopolis as he ended with 14 points, including two 3-pointers.
Hancock, a senior on the Bobcats' basketball team, scored 18 points, including three 3-pointers, as Brandywine defeated Edwardsburg, 57-40 on Senior Night.
