The Dowagiac varsity volleyball team wrapped up its regular season with a three game loss to host Paw Paw in Wolverine Conference play on Wednesday night.
The Chieftains fell to the Lady Redskins, 19-25, 25-27 and 19-25.
"We played hard but came up short again," Dowagiac coach Carl Greulich said. "The ball was spread around to different hitters, but was not effective again. We will try to get more quality sets to our middles and see if that works."
Sarah Shelton, Emily Primley and Brittany Bruens all had six kills for the Chieftains. Allison Frontczak finished with five kills.
Shelton finished with four blocks, while Frontczak had three blocks and two aces. Bruens finished with six digs.
Tasia Diaz led Dowagiac in digs with 10. Brittany Gnatz added seven digs.
Stephanie Barnas finished with 19 assists.
Dowagiac will compete in the Wolverine Conference Tournament on Saturday in Three Rivers.
