Walter M. Mills, 94, of Blaine Avenue in South Bend, Ind., formerly of Michigan City, Ind., and of Niles, died at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Regency Place Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend, Ind., following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles, with Pastor Jeffrey Whittaker of Michiana Christian Embassy officiating. Committal services will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, also in Niles.
The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in the memory of Walter M. Mills may be made to the Salvation Army.
