Dowagiac senior Oscar Wilson and junior Sarah Shelton have been named the Daily News Athletes of the Week for Feb. 5-10.
Wilson helped lead Dowagiac to a 2-1 record against Three Rivers, Plainwell and South Haven.
Wilson had a combined 43 points and nine 3-pointers as the Chieftains remained in second place in the Wolverine Conference.
Shelton had a big night in Dowagiac's five-game loss to non-conference foe Berrien Springs.
Shelton finished with nine kills, three aces and two blocks.
Each week, the Daily News will select two Athletes of the Week.
The selections come from nominations from the Dowagiac Union High School coaching staff.
