NILES – The Brandywine freshmen basketball team picked up a 48-38 victory over visiting Bridgman Friday night, while the junior varsity team fell to the Bees, 68-51.
For the freshmen team, Jesse McCombs led all scorers with 14 points. Lance Prescott added 12 points and Cody Pierson and DaKoda Udell each added seven points.
In the JV game, Dan Riedenbach led the Bobcats with 12 points, Zach Edquist had 11 and Shane Bankston ended with eight.
