The Dowagiac varsity volleyball team went 0-3 at the Vicksburg quad on Monday.
The Chieftains were defeated by Kalamazoo Loy Norrix (24-26, 22-25), Edwardsburg (7-25, 17-25) and host Vicksburg (22-25, 17-25).
Allison Frontczak led Dowagiac with 15 kills and seven blocks. The middle hitter also had three service aces.
Sarah Shelton and Chelsea McIntyre finished with eight and five kills respectively.
Kayla Saviano added four blocks, while Brittany Gnatz and Emily Primley had 15 and 10 digs.
Stephanie Barnas finished the night with 41 assists and four aces.
"Our middles continue to do a good job, but we can't seem to get over the hump," Dowagiac coach Carl Greulich said. "The team needs more production out of our left sides. We are not getting the ball in good shape to them for their attacks.
"That has a lot to do with our passing," Greulich continued. "We passed serve receive a little under a one on a scale of three. We will focus more on that in practice and see if we can't sure that up before Senior Night."
Dowagiac will host Wolverine Conference power Otsego on Wednesday in its final home match of the season.
