KALAMAZOO – The Kalamazoo Valley Community College women's basketball team picked up its 20th win Wednesday evening.
Kate Whitaker (Niles) recorded her third double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 rebounds to power KVCC to a 61-57 victory against host Muskegon Community College.
Kendra Kutz added 11 points, and Jaelyn Foston and Kim Gear 10 apiece for the Cougars, who had improved to 20-2 overall and a league-leading 9-2 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association West Division.
