Frank D. Tharp, 91, of Cedar Street, Niles, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles, following an illness.
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with Rev. Carl W. Bassett of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Niles officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends beginning one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
Full military honors conducted by American Legion Post #51 in Buchanan will follow the services at the funeral home. A private committal service will be held at the Edwardsburg Cemetery.
