Senior Amos Clark and junior Allison Frontczak have been named the Daily News Athletes of the Week for Jan. 22-27.
Clark had a combined 26 points, nine steals and 10 assists as the Chieftains defeated Otsego and Paw Paw.
Dowagiac is back in action tonight as it hosts Comstock in a Wolverine Conference game slated to begin at 7 p.m.
Frontczak had two kills, two blocks and four aces in the Chieftains' loss to Comstock last Thursday night. Dowagiac will host Berrien Springs on Monday.
Each week, the Daily News will select two Athletes of the Week.
The selections come from nominations from the Dowagiac Union High School coaching staff.
