Christ Jake "Butch" Aalfs, 84, of West U.S. Highway 12, Buchanan, died at 1:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with the Rev. Charles Johnston of First Missionary Baptist Church, also in Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in the memory of Christ Jake "Butch" Aalfs may be made to Buchanan Meadows Living Center, 809 Carroll St., Buchanan, MI, 49107.
