BUCHANAN -The Lady Bucks executed their game plan Thursday night at Buchanan High School as they crusied past Michigan Lutheran 3-0 in a non-league volleyball match with the Titans.
Buchanan, coming off a 3-0 win over Bridgman Wednesday night continued to attack and play strong defense. "We kept the level or our game high," a pleased Buchanan coach Lisa Holok said following the win. "We were very controlled, they just seemed to be having a lot more fun out there and playing very well together. I was just pleased that we could put back to back games together."
The Lady Bucks took control right from the start winning the first and second game by identical scores of 25-11, and finished off the Titans in game three, 25-14.
The Titans never threatened the Bucks during the three game match as Buchanan raced out to big leads early in each game and crusied to the easy victory.
In the opening game, Buchanan stretched a 3-2 lead to a 15-5 advantage. The second game was all Lady Bucks as they raced out to a 14-0 lead before settling for the 25-11 win.

In that spurt, Anna Callahan served up four aces followed by Emily Ross who served up three straight aces to aid in putting the game away taking a 19-8 lead. The win improves Buchanan to 2-2 in the conference 4-3 overall.
