The 2007 Cass County Relay for Life theme this year is "Cooking up a Cure."
Several local restaurants are participating by cooking up some special dishes for participants to sample.
For those who attend, you can choose your favorite dish by making a donation in the collection bucket that will be placed at each site.
The American Cancer Society Cass County Relay for Life Kickoff will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Lewis Cass Intermediate School District Brookside Learning Center on Dailey Road from 2 until 4 p.m.
The community is invited to come out and see what Relay is all about.
Information will be available for anyone who has an interest in learning more about Relay.
For anyone who has an interest in putting together a Team for the 2007 Cass County Relay for Life all the information you need to help you organize your group will be available and 2007 committee members will be at the kickoff to answer any questions you may have about participating in this cancer-fighting cause.
Also, returning teams are asked to stop by so you can get your team packets and find out what's new this year for Relay.
Cass County Relay for Life will be held May 18 and 19 at the Cass County fairgrounds. The opening ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, May 18.
Relay will continue through 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 19.
