VICKSBURG – The Dowagiac junior varsity basketball team dropped a 55-39 decision to the host Bulldogs on Friday night.
The Bulldogs built up a 27-13 halftime lead and then outscored Dowagiac 28-26 in the second half to earn the victory.
Michael Filley led Dowagiac with nine points. Dre Kiser and Greg Nelson both scored eight points. Drew Cooper and Zach Russom both finished with six points.
Dowagiac is back in action on Tuesday night when it hosts Niles. Tip-off is set for approximately 5:45 p.m.
