Bridgman Co-Op swims past Battle Creek Central

NILES – The Bridgman Co-Op swimming and diving team hosted Battle Creek Central Monday eveing and swam away with a 112-74 victory.
Taking first place finishes on the night were Matt Bizoe, Ty Alexander, Alex Ottusch and Cory Schiller of the 200 yard Medley Relay team. The four posted a time of 1:56.23.
Eric Nelson took first place in the 200 free with a time of 2:05.28 and the 100 free with a time of .55.24
Alexander was first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:15.29 and took second in the 200 free with a time of 2:07.72.
The 200 free relay team of Alexander, Jason Pillins, Ottusch and Schiller finished first with a time of 1:14.20.
The 400 free relay team, of Nelson, Sam McCalin, Phillip Beltz and Bizoe finished second with a time of 4:06.52.
Bizoe placed second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:32.13 and took second in the 100 back with a time of 1:07.46.
McCalin placed third in the 500 free with a time of 6:25.35, while Luke Anderson was third in the 100 fly with a time of 1:19.78.
Ottusch took first in the 100 fly with a time of 1:02.13, while Pullins was second with a time of 1:07.93.
Beltz took a first place finish in diving with a 192.55. Cory Schiller was second with 161.40 and Mark Gittersonke was third with a 140.05.
The Bridgman Co-Op team will travel to Otsego High School for a dual meet on Jan. 11.
