NILES – The first baby born in 2007 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles was Savannah Marie Hensle. She was born at 1:04 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Savannah weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces at birth.
Father, Gordon Hensle, and mother, Betsy Ottman, of Dowagiac, are first-time parents.
