John A. Hatfield, 83, of Cass Street in Niles, died at 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, at his home, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles, with the Rev. Emmett H. Kadwell Jr. of Wesley United Methodist Church in Niles officiating. Interment will take place in Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles. A Veteran's Flag Presentation and Taps following the Committal at the graveside will be by the American Legion Post No. 26 of Niles.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be at 7:30 by the Saint Joseph Valley Lodge No. 4 of Free and Accepted Masons.
