The next monthly meeting for the Dowagiac Athletic Booster Club is Monday at 7 p.m. in the athletic office.
The Boosters are here to support the athletic programs with purchases above what the normal operating budget will allow.
Thus far, the group has purchased a laptop for keeping stats and editing videos, three soccer shelters to keep the teams and the scorer out of the weather elements, and most recently, new rugs for the gym entrances and in front of the team benches.
The golf committee is meeting on a regular basis to plan the Fourth Annual Chieftain Golf Outing. The 2007 outing will be on Thursday, June 14, 2007 and we hope that you will join us.
Boosters selling blankets
These orange blankets have a fleece lining and a waterproof outer layer. They have a hood and can be zipped or just wrapped around for warmth.
They sell for $35 and make excellent Christmas gifts. This blanket is also available in black but without the zipper and hood. Afghans, flags, and umbrellas are also for sale.
